This degree builds your technical expertise and gives you strong, industry-standard IT skills. It’s also flexible – you’ll have the opportunity to specialise in one of several booming areas, including cloud analytics, artificial intelligence or cybersecurity.

Associate Professor Ben Soh is the course coordinator for the Master of IT. Ben obtained his PhD in Computer Science & Engineering (in the area of Secure and Fault-Tolerant Computing under the tutelage of Prof TS Dillon) from La Trobe in 1995. Since then, he has successfully supervised 11 PhD students and published more than 180 peer-reviewed research papers. He has made significant contributions in the following research areas: fault-tolerant and secure computing, cloud computing, information systems research, pervasive wireless network communications, and business process management.

Tuition fees range from $47,400–$63,200. Individual subjects are $3,950 each. You’ll need to complete 12 subjects if you have a cognate Bachelor’s or 16 subjects if your Bachelor’s is in another area of study. You can review all fee details here.
