Graduate certificate and diploma options

Two early exit points mean that every stage of your course contributes to your future career. You can exit the course after six months with a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology Fundamentals or exit after one year with a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology.

Associate Professor Ben Soh is the course coordinator for the Master of IT. Ben obtained his PhD in Computer Science & Engineering (in the area of Secure and Fault-Tolerant Computing under the tutelage of Prof TS Dillon) from La Trobe in 1995. Since then, he has successfully supervised 11 PhD students and published more than 180 peer-reviewed research papers. He has made significant contributions in the following research areas: fault-tolerant and secure computing, cloud computing, information systems research, pervasive wireless network communications, and business process management.

Tuition fees range from $47,400–$63,200. Individual subjects are $3,950 each. You’ll need to complete 12 subjects if you have a cognate Bachelor’s or 16 subjects if your Bachelor’s is in another area of study. You can review all fee details here.
