Online Master of Mental Health Nursing: Entry Requirements
Entry requirements
To apply for La Trobe’s Master of Mental Health Nursing, you’ll need to be a domestic student, have a completed application and:
successful completion of an Australian bachelor degree in nursing (or equivalent)* |
transcripts from prior universities |
resume or CV |
be a Division 1 Registered Nurse |
have a current practising certificate with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). |

Please note: Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee an offer of place. Entry into all La Trobe courses is based on competitive selection and there may be limited places available.

Recognition of prior learning
If you’ve completed previous study, you may qualify for advanced standing. This can reduce the number of subjects required to complete your course so you graduate sooner and save on tuition fees. The amount of credit received depends on the level and relevance of your studies and the number of subjects completed. You can review the full policy and search for credit here.
