To apply for La Trobe’s Master of Mental Health Nursing, you’ll need to be a domestic student, have a completed application and:
|successful completion of an Australian bachelor degree in nursing (or equivalent)*
|transcripts from prior universities
|resume or CV
|be a Division 1 Registered Nurse
|have a current practising certificate with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Recognition of prior learning
If you’ve completed previous study, you may qualify for advanced standing. This can reduce the number of subjects required to complete your course so you graduate sooner and save on tuition fees.
