To apply for La Trobe’s online Master of Business Administration (MBA) course, you’ll need a completed application and the following:

successful completion of an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent)*
transcripts from all prior universities
letter of recommendation (professional letters of recommendation may be requested to verify management experience)
resume or CV with three years of relevant management experience
WAM of 60% or above at third-year university level.

*See ‘additional entry opportunities’ below if you do not fulfil this requirement.

Additional entry opportunities

Your academic records, English proficiency and employment experience are considered in your application to La Trobe.

Alternate entry

Applicants with eight years of work experience and three years in a management role, but without an undergraduate degree will be considered for professional entry.

Recognition of prior learning

If you’ve completed previous study, you may qualify for advanced standing. This can reduce the number of subjects required to complete your course so you graduate sooner and save on tuition fees. The amount of credit received depends on the level and relevance of your studies and the number of subjects completed. You can review the full policy and search for credit here.

When to apply

You can start any time as we have multiple intakes each year. Get in touch with our Student Enrolment Advisors today to discuss which intake is right for you, either request more information or call us directly on (+61 3) 9917 3009.
